Personal Growth Is A Health Issue Too

Spiritual and mental improvements are just as much an important health issue as eating right and taking exercise.

I say this because I am constantly surprised that when I release some of my Kreissonetics™ materials (mind improvement, science of change, success strategies and financial health) that very few people seem to take me up on it.

Of course there are the loving, adventurous souls who want everything in life to be a delight. My hat is off to them. They have already signed up!

But what about the rest of you?

Can you not see that the ideal, healthy life is about balance and harmony of body, mind and soul?

In my book Get Healthy For Your Next 100 Years I point out that the single biggest factor in whether you will live long is state of mind! Yet most people, I find, are really inept when it comes to managing mind states and emotions.

We are reportedly the paragon of animals, intelligent beyond all other creatures; and so we are… But we are also about the dumbest animals on the planet. We race into wars over the slightest thing, causing the deaths of millions, without stopping to think.

We soil, pollute and destroy our own nest, so that our own future is in doubt.

We set money and property over the lives of others; indeed over the health of all the planet.

We communicate badly; we rarely say what we mean and can hardly make ourselves understood without quarrels and argument.

We get into affairs and relationships for all the wrong reasons, (often) with the wrong person and spend the rest of our lives in a stressful marriage or cohabitation.

We blunder into parenthood and blithely teach our kids every stupid vice and idiocy we know and call that “education”.

The crazy thing is that there are answers to all this; good answers; teachings that work. And I don’t mean religious cant and dogma. Holy books have caused more trouble than any other instrument of communication.

I mean sound logic and heart-informed wisdom. There’s plenty of it about. I picked up spades of it, because I’m curious and try things, but I’m not unique.

However, I can’t teach other people’s wisdom, only my own.

But I do know plenty, I assure you. A lot of it nobody else seems to have grasped. I have a kind of “GPS for the mind” system that can locate geographical areas in the mind that are crucial and release much turmoil. This year I am starting to teach the use of this instrument to my nominated “Knights Of Serendipity”.

Eventually that leads to experiencing and understanding human multiple consciousness states. Each of us is a composite of beings and viewpoints. It’s obvious really: all of us have had the experience of acting like someone else momentarily, or having inexplicable character changes or at times not even being quite aware what we did or said (because we didn’t!)

But you won’t find that in textbooks. Not for a long time yet.

I have explored a fascinating new subject I have christened “thought structures”. Again, nobody to my knowledge has gone down this road. A thought structure is a kind of overlay, which you put on the processes of the mind, which makes it clearer to see what is happening (a simple list is a short thought structure!)

An example would be my “12 Channels Of Being”, which I hope you have all read.

I also have many rubrics, such as “Negotiating Change”, “Creatively Dealing With Problems”, “The Real Secret Of Affluence” (no, it’s not manifesting), “Facts, Hoaxes And Beliefs”, “Investing In Yourself” and “The Supreme Test Of History” (did it happen, yes or no?)

Some of you will remember my 10 Silly Basics Of Reasoning. These are critical to getting any meaningful outcome in life.

These are basic materials that everyone should know and “think with”. For me it’s unbelievable that anyone could make wise decisions or see the world as it really is, without seeing it along the 12 Channels Of Being, or listen to information without knowing whether it’s true or a hoax.

Anyway, here’s the point. You can’t make all these changes in a few days (no weekend seminar here!) or even a few weeks.

My thought structures are like a new language and, like any language learning, it gets interesting very quickly but takes a long time to become fluent. You can order a cup of coffee right away but it might take years to be able to explain your subtle health problems in the new language.

I am just finishing up a massive compilation of some of this stuff. But in the meantime, there is my “New Thought Horizons” course. It’s available right now and gets you started on the road from strife, disappointment and difficulty, towards fulfillment, competence and above all, happiness. The three are connected, of course!

Go here and sign up. I’ll join you very quickly for our first weekly online class get together…
