Lost Universes and Failed Purposes

As spiritual beings we have been on a quest for a very long time… indeed before and beyond time, in a very real sense. Some of our actions go back to other, older universes, in which things were different. The current Hollywood obsession with weird, mystical kingdoms, where creatures and humanoids could shape-shift at will and create appalling constructive and destructive effects, is something of a hark back to these lost universes.

Thing is, those universes are still out there. We just don’t need them at this time. Forward is better than backwards. Nevertheless, we carry a great many of these “lost universes” around with us: as memory! And, yes, they do impact us.

As we have declined slowly and lost our god-like magical abilities, we are left with a sense of emptiness and failure. All through past time—and beyond—we have been straining to achieve certain purposes. These have shifted through history but have remained a constant and powerful influence on our current predicament. Accumulations of failed purposes, too, have their influence.

Almost everything we experience in this present life, from the least to the most powerful moments, has its conditioning root in events from long, long ago, far back into the mists of time and past blurred boundaries into older universes. Constantly we have been trying to achieve something and then creating and counter-posing our own obstructions to our own purpose.

The exact technical build up of what we called a “failed purpose construct” (FPC) is beyond this essay but suffice it to say we have with us, deep within our psyche, a massive accumulation of energies and charges, surrounding these failed purposes and the missing universes where we played. They influence our thinking today and are almost overwhelmingly powerful. The accumulated mental masses we carry are as large as buildings—and there are LOTS or them—all waiting to explode in our face, when we do the wrong thing or once again get into conflict with our true selves.
